RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0286 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN (AIP) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2020 OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN INVOLVING THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE BILLION THREE HUNDRED MILLION (P1,300,000,000.00) PESOS AS ADOPTED BY THE CITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL THROUGH ITS RESOLUTION NO. 2019-08" WHEREAS, the Annual Investment Plan in the following amounts as adopted by the City Development Council involving the total amount of One Billion Three Hundred Million (P1,300,000,000.00) Pesos covering the following programs was forwarded to this body by the City Chief Executive for consideration and action, to wit; General Public Services (Annex "A") P 453,099,000.00 Social Services (Annex "B") 75,589,000.00 Economic Services (Annex "C") 133,922,000.00 One (1%) Percent Senior Citizens & Persons With Disability (Annex "D") 13,000,000.00 Five (5%) Percent Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund (Annex "E") 65,000,000.00 Five (5%) Percent Gender and Development Fund (GAD) (Annex "F") 65,000,000.00 Twenty (20%) Percent Development Fund (Annex "G") 196,300,000.00 One (1%) Percent Local Council for the Protection of Children (Annex "H") 9,815,000.00 Regular Fund (Annex "I") 275,221,000.00 Aid to Barangays (Annex "J") 54,000.00 Debt Servicing (Annex "J") 13,000,000.00 WHEREAS, such plan has been thoroughly scrutinized through the Committee on Finance and Appropriation-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred, is found in its entirety to address the developmental direction, plans and programs as well as current priorities of the City Government for the succeeding year and, by this body's evaluation and appreciation, has notably included in its totality such all-important appropriations as mandatorily required to address national concerns which, when lumped as had been identified and acknowledged by this Council, will sum up as follows: Climate Change Action Plan P 115,642,000.00 Peace and Order Plan 94,877,000.00 List of PPAs to Combat Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome 200,000.00 Local Nutrition Action Plan 7,250,000.00 NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to approve and adopt, as this body hereby approves and adopt the Annual Investment Plan for Calendar Year 2020 of the City Government of Pagadian involving the total amount of One Billion Three Hundred Million (P1,300,000,000.00) Pesos, the specific programs/projects under the Plan are herein attached as sequentially denominated from Annex "A" to Annex "J". RESOLVED, FURTHER, that this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, for review; to the City Planning & Development Office and the Local Finance Committee through the Honorable City Mayor, for information and reference.
