RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0276 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety; Committee on Health and Social Services; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 016 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-434, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SELLING AND DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR AND OTHER INTOXICATING BEVERAGES IN ALL PUBLIC PLAZAS, PARKS, ROADS, SIDEWALKS AND ALLEYS OF THE CITY AND ITS BARANGAYS EXCEPT ON OFFICIAL FUNCTIONS AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 016, authored by Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, has been thoroughly considered by this august body with its merits, importance and relevance procedurally tackled on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the measure as it stands merits the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 016, on Third Reading and ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2019-434 entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting the Selling and Drinking of Alcoholic Liquor and Other Intoxicating Beverages in all Public Plazas, Parks, Roads, Sidewalks and Alleys of the City and its Barangays Except on Official Functions and Providing Penalty for Violation Thereof."
