RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0275 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety; Committee on Health and Social Services; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 016, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SELLING AND DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR AND OTHER INTOXICATING BEVERAGES IN ALL PUBLIC PLAZAS, PARKS, ROADS, SIDEWALKS AND ALLEYS OF THE CITY AND ITS BARANGAYS EXCEPT ON OFFICIAL FUNCTIONS AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" ON SECOND READING AND FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE SAME ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 016 on second reading, finds the measure very relevant and most applicable under the present circumstances; WHEREAS, following the presentation of the Committees concerned, in its Report No. 105, which facilitated its consideration on Second Reading, the body deems the draft sufficient so as to warrant its treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 016, entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting the Selling and Drinking of Alcoholic Liquor and Other Intoxicating Beverages in all Public Plazas, Parks, Roads, Sidewalks and Alleys of the City and its Barangays Except on Official Functions and Providing Penalty for Violation Thereof" on Second Reading and for the consideration of the same on Third Reading.
