RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0271 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Human Rights and Urban/Rural Community and Committee on Planning and Landed Estates) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO CONVENE THE PAGADIAN CITY HOUSING BOARD PURPOSELY TO FORMULATE THE NECESSARY POLICY GUIDELINES GOVERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF THE CITY'S RELOCATION/RESETTLEMENT SITES" WHEREAS, this body is precisely apprehensive on the present status of the City Government's Relocation and Resettlement areas and profoundly desirable to come up with the proper policy guideline for the establishment and operation of the same; WHEREAS, consistent thereto, the Pagadian City Housing Board, through City Ordinance No. 2017-383, as amended, was created purposely to oversee and to plan out reliable strategies to iron out problems and issues concerning relocation/resettlements sites; WHEREAS, with the recommendation of the concerned Committees, the body finds it appropriate and in order to direct the Local Housing Board to formulate appropriate course of action vis-a-vis, guidelines in the operation of the City's Relocation/Resettlement Areas, hence requesting the Honorable City Mayor to convene the board is most necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to convene the Pagadian City Housing Board purposely to formulate the necessary policy guidelines governing the establishment, development and operation of the city's relocation/resettlement sites. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the Pagadian City Housing Board, for his immediate favorable action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
