Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DONATE, BY WAY OF A DEED OF DONATION, LOT NO. 4, BLOCK NO. 9 AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, WITH AN AREA OF 1,548 SQUARE METERS IN FAVOR OF THE PHILIPPINE CROP INSURANCE CORPORATION (PCIC), REGIONAL OFFICE IX" WHEREAS, the City Government developed the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center in Barangay Balintawak, this City, to accommodate the transferring Regional Center offices of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region from Zamboanga City to Pagadian City; WHEREAS, the Philippine Crop Insurance Company (PCIC) signified its intention to construct and establish its Regional Office in the site and has preferred Lot No. 4, Block No. 9, thereat, with a total area of 1,548 square meters, more or less, and has sought the allocation of the area to facilitate the construction and development of its Regional Center building; WHEREAS, subject to the conditions stipulated in Resolution No. 2009-0691 of this Sanggunian, such area may be donated to the above-named national government agency, thus the need to authorize the Honorable City Mayor to execute a Deed of Donation in favor of the Philippine Crop Insurance Company (PCIC); NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to donate, by way of a Deed of Donation, Lot No. 4, Block No. 9 at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak, this city, with an area of 1,548 square meters in favor of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Regional Office IX. RESOLVED FURTHER to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer and all other offices concerned, for information and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
