RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0255 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Youth Welfare, Juvenile Delinquency and Drug Abuse Prevention; Committee on Police, Fire and public Safety; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 014 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-430, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATION GOVERNING THE OPERATION OF INTERNET SERVICE SITE, JOINTS, CAFES, STATIONS, CENTER OR ANY SIMILAR BUSINESS ENTITIES WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY BY PROHIBITING PERSONS SEVENTEEN (17) YEARS OLD AND BELOW AND/OR HIGH SCHOOL OR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS, TO USE/OPERATE COMPUTER UNITS DURING SCHOOL HOURS FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY"" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 014, jointly authored by the Committee on Youth Welfare, Juvenile Delinquency and Drug Abuse Prevention; Committee on Police, Fire and public Safety; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation, has been thoroughly considered by this august body with its merits, importance and relevance, procedurally tackled on First and Second Reading; WHEREAS, finding no legal impediment for its further consideration, its enactment is deemed appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to approve, as it hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 014 on Third Reading and Ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2019-430, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing Regulation Governing the Operation of Internet Service Site, Joints, Cafes, Stations, Center or Any Similar Business Entities Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Pagadian City by Prohibiting Persons Seventeen (17) Years Old and Below and/or High School or Elementary Students, to Use/Operate Computer Units During School Hours From Monday to Friday."
