RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0254 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Youth Welfare, Juvenile Delinquency and Drug Abuse Prevention; Committee on Police, Fire and public Safety; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 014, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATION GOVERNING THE OPERATION OF INTERNET SERVICE SITE, JOINTS, CAFES, STATIONS, CENTER OR ANY SIMILAR BUSINESS ENTITIES WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY BY PROHIBITING PERSONS SEVENTEEN (17) YEARS OLD AND BELOW AND/OR HIGH SCHOOL OR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS, TO USE/OPERATE COMPUTER UNITS DURING SCHOOL HOURS FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY" ON SECOND READING AND FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE SAME ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 014 on second reading as jointly sponsored by the Committee on Youth Welfare, Juvenile Delinquency and Drug Abuse Prevention; Committee on Police, Fire and public Safety; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation, finds the measure very relevant and most applicable under the present circumstances; WHEREAS, this body deems the draft sufficient in form and that the substance thereof is urgent and necessary so as to warrant its further treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to approve, as it hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 014, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing Regulation Governing the Operation of Internet Service Site, Joints, Cafes, Stations, Center or Any Similar Business Entities Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Pagadian City by Prohibiting Persons Seventeen (17) Years Old and Below and/or High School or Elementary Students, to Use/Operate Computer Units During School Hours From Monday to Friday" on Second Reading and for the consideration of the same on Third Reading.
