RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0252 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A "GO NEGOSYO" CENTER IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, information has reached this august body that several municipalities in the Province of Zamboanga del Sur have established "Go Negosyo" Centers which aims to promote ease of doing business and access to services within its jurisdiction pursuant to the mandate under Republic Act No. 10644, entitled: "An Act Promoting Job Generation and Inclusive Growth through the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises" or otherwise known as "Go Negosyo Act;" WHEREAS, this body sees the need for the establishment of such facility as a measure to promote and invite entrepreneurs and/or investors to invest in the city to provide more job opportunity to the city's constituencies aside from further advancing the city's economic development being the Regional Center of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region; WHEREAS, it is thus necessary to request the Honorable City Mayor to favorably consider the establishment of a "Go Negosyo" center in the city to facilitate and expedite the business application processes and drive socio-economic development in our locality; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to favorably consider the establishment and operation of a "Go Negosyo" center in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
