RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0233 (Sponsor: Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives) "A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY FORWARDING TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR THE PROPOSAL OF THE PAGADIAN CITY LUMBER DEALER CREDIT COOPERATIVE (PACILDECCO), AS ENUNCIATED IN THEIR LETTER DATED OCTOBER 22, 2019, STATING THEIR INTENTION TO BE ASSIGNED AN AREA WHERE THEY CAN OPERATE THEIR BUSINESS FOR CONSIDERATION AND INCLUSION IN THE FORMULATION OF THE UPDATED COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN (CLUP) OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, with the City Government's unequivocal and unfaltering application of the directive of the national government relative to road and sidewalk clearing as well as local regulations governing the parking of all delivery and cargo trucks, including tractor trailers or prime movers for containerized hauling services, it cannot be denied that some businesses were seriously and greatly affected; WHEREAS, concerned on the negative effect of their businesses, the Pagadian City Lumber Dealer Credit Cooperative (PACILDECCO), through a letter by its Chairperson, Ms. Naomi Carillo, has proposed for the provision, designation and assignment of an appropriate area where they can freely engage their business without having caused any disturbance to any private individual and is not covered with the regulation governing the parking of delivery and cargo trucks; WHEREAS, the Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives, to which the said matter was referred for preliminary attention, recommended to indorse such proposal to the City Chief Executive for favorable consideration and inclusion in the formulation of the updated Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) of the city, which recommendation merited the support and concurrence of this body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to officially forward, as this body hereby officially forwards to the Honorable City Mayor the proposal of the Pagadian City Lumber Dealer Credit Cooperative (PACILDECCO), as enunciated in their letter dated October 22, 2019, stating their intention to be assigned an area where they can operate their business for consideration and inclusion in the formulation of the Updated Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) of the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; and to Engr. Reynita R.
