Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE DEED OF SALE ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN REPRESENTED BY THEN CITY MAYOR BENJAMIN F. ARAO, AS VENDEE, AND HILARIO BUCO, AS VENDOR, RELATIVE TO THE CITY'S PURCHASE OF A PORTION OF LOT NO. 10, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. T-2,833, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 9,506 SQUARE METERS, MORE OR LESS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY BUENAVISTA, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, on 27 June 1994, then incumbent City Mayor Benjamin F. Arao, in representation of the City Government of Pagadian, purchased a portion of parcel of land owned and registered in the name of Hilario Buco situated at Barangay Buenavista, Pagadian City, as evidenced by the Deed of Sale the City Mayor entered into with Hilario Buco, which property as acquired by the City Government is particularly described as follows: "Lot No. 10, (LRC) Psd-146271, bounded on the North by Lot 10 (the remaining portion); on the South by Lot 9; on the East by Lot 5856-C; and on the West by Lot 5919-C. Containing an area of Nine Thousand Five Hundred Six (9,506) Square Meters covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. 2,833 issued in the name of Hilario Buco." WHEREAS, with the above-cited sale having been perfected and duly notarized by Atty. Honorio B. Alonzo, the City Government is now in the process of completing a Deed of Exchange with Engr. Edilberto Yorong, however, the said Deed of Sale, as required by the Register of Deeds, requires the confirmation of this Sanggunian; WHEREAS, this body, after proper evaluation, finds it imperative to confirm the said Deed of Sale; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the Deed of Sale entered into by and between the City Government of Pagadian represented by then City Mayor Benjamin F. Arao, as vendee, and Hilario Buco, as vendor, relative to the city's purchase of a portion of Lot No. 10, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-2,833, containing an area of 9,506 square meters, more or less, situated at Barangay Buenavista, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information, guidance and appropriate action; to Hilario Buco, and to all others concerned, for their information and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
