RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0221 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Youth Welfare, Juvenile Delinquency and Drug Abuse Prevention and Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF BULATOK, THIS CITY, ITS BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 03, S. 2019, WITH A FURTHER ADVICE TO INSTITUTE NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS TO CONFORM TO CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2001-192" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Bulatok, during its Regular Session held on 01 April 2019, adopted Barangay Ordinance No. 03, s. 2019, entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting Minors Below Sixteen (16) Years Old to Play Computer Games, Internet Based Games and Billiards During School Hours", and submitted the same to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for review pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the "Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the concerned Committees, to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial evaluation and consideration, recommended in its Committee Report No. 075 that the same be remanded for purposes of modification and amendment in order to conform to City Ordinance No. 2001-192; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Government of Bulatok, this City, its Barangay Ordinance No. 03, s. 2019, with a further advise to institute necessary modifications to conform to City Ordinance No. 2001-192. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let this Resolution be transmitted to the Sangguniang Barangay of Bulatok through its Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
