RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0204 (Sponsor: Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE WESTERN MINDANAO STATE UNIVERSITY (WMSU) EXTERNAL STUDIES, WITH REFERENCE TO THE SOCIAL WORK INTERNSHIP OF THE LATTER'S SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS WITH THE CITY GOVERNMENT" WHEREAS, the Western Mindanao State University-External Studies, by way of a letter, expressed its intention to collaborate with the City Government of Pagadian with regard to the exposure of their Bachelor of Science in Social Work students for field instruction requirement with the City Government; WHEREAS, in order to facilitate such intention, there is that need to formalize such terms and conditions through a Memorandum of Agreement wherein the respective responsibilities of both parties were specified, thus, the request of the City Chief Executive for legislative authority to enter and represent the City Government of Pagadian in the formulation of such deed was supported and concurred by the body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) External Studies, with reference to the Social Work Internship of the latter's social work students with the City Government. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his appropriate consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to Ms. Criselda D. Ricohermoso, OIC-Unit Coordinator, WMSU, External Studies, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
