Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE COMMISSION ON ELECTION (COMELEC), REGIONAL OFFICE 9, FOR LOT NO. 4, BLOCK NO. 8 CONTAINING AN AREA OF 1,728 SQUARE METERS AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2009-0691, the City Government has granted by way of Deeds of Donation the allocation and distribution of the areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City, to the transferring regional government departments, offices and agencies of Region 9; WHEREAS, with the Commission on Election (COMELEC), Regional Office 9, expressing desire and intention to transfer and construct their regional office at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site, and after considering the space requirements, the City Government has identified Lot No. 4, Block No. 8 thereat, as site of their regional office; WHEREAS, for this purpose, a Deed of Donation was endorsed to this body by the Honorable City Mayor with a request for authority to sign the document formalizing the allocation of the area, which document, upon review, is deemed in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion by Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the Commission on Election (COMELEC), Regional Office 9, for Lot No. 4, Block No. 8 containing an area of 1,728 square meters at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for information and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; the Regional Director, Commission on Elections-Regional Office 9; and all other offices concerned, for reference.
