RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0184 (Sponsor: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF MR. BRIAN ALTERADO, RACE DIRECTOR OF THE 5TH GEAR MOTORSPORTS, TO UTILIZE THE CITY SPORTS OVAL GROUNDS ON OCTOBER 13, 2019, FOR THE CONDUCT OF HONDA RIDE RED OFF-ROAD RACE" WHEREAS, the 5th Gear Motorsports, will be sponsoring a Honda Ride Red Off-Road Race, and by virtue of a letter through Mr. Brian Alterado, Race Director, has sought permission from this august body to avail and utilize the city sport oval grounds on 13 October 2019 for the conduct of the said event; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation of the foregoing request, and finding importance and urgency, this body finds such request beneficial and advantageous to the City Government as it will bolster and strengthen its campaign to make Pagadian City a tourist destination, hence this approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the request of Mr. Brian Alterado, Race Director of the 5th Gear Motorsports, to utilize the City Sports Oval Grounds on October 13, 2019, for the conduct of Honda Ride Red Off-Road Race. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; Mr. Brian Alterado, Race Director of the 5th Gear Motorsports and all concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
