RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0174 (Sponsor: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND DECLARING AS OPERATIVE BARANGAY ORDINANCE OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF GATAS, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BARANGAY ACTION DENGUE BRIGADE, DEFINING ITS POWERS AND DUTIES, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Gatas, this City, enacted Barangay Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing the Barangay Action Dengue Brigade, Defining its Powers and Duties, Providing Penalties for Violation Thereof," and submitted the same to this august body pursuant to the provisions of R.A. 7160 for review and confirmation; WHEREAS, the Committee on Health and Social Services, to which the foregoing Barangay Ordinance was referred for initial consideration, found the same in order in form and in substance and thus, recommended for its confirmation, where upon consideration, the body acceded to confirm and declare the same as operative; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to confirm and declare, as this body hereby confirms and declares as operative Barangay Ordinance of the Barangay Council of Gatas, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing the Barangay Action Dengue Brigade, defining its powers and duties, providing penalties for violation thereof." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the Sangguniang Barangay of Gatas, through its Barangay Chairman for information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
