RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0167 (Sponsor: Committee on Good Government, Ethics and Civil Service) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES OFFICER TO SUBMIT TO THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT THROUGH THE TECHNICAL SERVICES OFFICE, SYSTEMS AND TECHNICAL SERVICES SECTOR, ALL EXISTING CONTRACTS OF LEASE INVOLVING CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED BUILDINGS AND/OR LANDS IN FAVOR OF ANY PRIVATE ENTITIES/INDIVIDUALS" WHEREAS, by virtue of COA Circular No. 2019-005, dated 07 August 2019 issued by the Commission on Audit, all Local Government Units were required to submit all contracts of lease involving government-owned buildings and/or lands with any private entities/individuals to the Commission on Audit through its Technical Services Office, Systems and Technical Services Sector, for review; WHEREAS, in compliance to the foregoing directive, this august body, following the favorable recommendation of the Committee on Good Government, Ethics and Civil Service, to which the matter was referred for initial evaluation and consideration, deems it in order and most appropriate to direct the City Economic Enterprises Officer-having custody of such documents-to submit and provide to the Commission on Audit the said documents; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Economic Enterprises Officer to submit to the Commission on Audit through the Technical Services Office, Systems and Technical Services Sector, all existing Contracts of Lease involving City Government-owned buildings and/or lands in favor of any private entities/individuals. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and favorable consideration; to Ms. Lucille S. Juros, City Economic Enterprises Officer; and to the Commission on Audit; Attn: The Head-Technical Services Office, Systems and Technical Services Sector, COA, through the City Auditor, for information, guidance and appropriate action.
