RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0166 (Sponsor: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF GATAS, THIS CITY, THEIR BARANGAY ORDINANCE NOS. 2019-09 AND 2019-10, FOR FURTHER CONSIDERATION, MODIFICATION AND ADJUSTMENTS TO CONFORM TO THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF THE BARANGAY AS PROVIDED UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991" WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Gatas, this City, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 2019-09 entitled: "An Ordinance for the Prevention and Control of Crime in this Barangay;" and Barangay Ordinance 2019-10 entitled: "An Ordinance Imposing Curfew Hours on Minors in Barangay Gatas from 10:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M.," and submitted the same to this august body for review and confirmation pursuant to Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety, to which the foregoing concern was referred for preliminary consideration, recommended that the afore-mentioned barangay ordinances be remanded to the concerned barangay with the information that further adjustments and modifications be made to conform to the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Gatas, this City, their Barangay Ordinance Nos. 2019-09 and 2019-10, for further consideration, modification and adjustments to conform to the power and authority of the barangay as provided under the Local Government Code of 1991. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to Sangguniang Barangay of Gatas through its Punong Barangay, for its information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
