RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0163 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Ferrnandez) "A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO GRANT THE REQUEST OF JCI SENATE PHILIPPINES-ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR CHAPTER, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF A JCI CREED MARKER WITH LOGO AT THE ROTUNDA, B.F. ARAO AVENUE, BARANGAY DAO, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, the JCI Senate Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur Chapter, through a letter by Mr. Geneo Sophine Dy, Chapter President, sought the intervention of this august body relative to their intention to establish and construct a JCI Creed Marker with Logo at the Rotunda, B.F. Arao Avenue, Barangay Dao, this City; WHEREAS, the construction and establishment of such marker signifies the association's all-out support and cooperation with the City Government with regard to the city's socio-economic development as well as it will help promote the city as a tourist destination in this part of the country, thus the favorable endorsement of this body for its immediate installation is most appropriate and in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to recommend, as this body hereby recommends to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to grant the request of JCI Senate Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur Chapter, for the establishment and construction of a JCI Creed Marker with logo at the Rotunda, B.F. Arao Avenue, Barangay Dao, this City. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; and to the JCI Senate Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur, through its Chapter President, Mr. Geneo Sophine Dy, for information, guidance and follow-up.
