RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0157 (Co - Sponsors: Committee on Ways and Means and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY AND ENFORCEABILITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-08, OF BARANGAY GATAS, THIS CITY, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE FEES FOR HOUSEHOLD/RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF BARANGAY GATAS AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" AND DECLARING THE SAME TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Gatas, this City, adopted and passed Barangay Ordinance No. 2019-08, entitled: "An Ordinance Implementing the Collection of Garbage Fees for Household/Residential and Business Establishments Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Barangay Gatas and Imposing Penalties for Violation Thereof", and submitted the same for review by this Sanggunian pursuant to Sub-Paragraph (i) Article 99 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the said Barangay Ordinance, after careful evaluation and consideration by this august body through the concerned committee, has been found to be in conformity with the powers of the Sangguniang Barangay as provided for in R.A 7160 and have substantially complied with such other pertinent legal requisites; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity and enforceability of Barangay Ordinance No. 2019-08, of Barangay Gatas, this city, entitled: "An Ordinance Implementing the Collection of Garbage Fees for Household/Residential and Business Establishments Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Barangay Gatas and Imposing Penalties for Violation Thereof" and declaring the same to be in full force and effect. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the concerned Barangay, through the Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
