RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0152 (Co - Sponsors: Committee on Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY AND ENFORCEABILITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-007 OF BARANGAY GATAS, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DUMPING OF CARCASSES OF DEAD ANIMALS IN PUBLIC AND OPEN SPACES, PRIVATE PROPERTIES, RIVER/CREEK, CANALS, DRAINAGES AND OTHER WATERWAYS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF BARANGAY GATAS, PAGADIAN CITY AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" AND DECLARING THE SAME TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT" WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Gatas, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 2019-007, entitled: " An Ordinance Prohibiting the Dumping of Carcasses of Dead Animals in Public and Open Spaces, Private Properties, River/Creek, Canals, Drainages and Other Waterways Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City and Providing Penalties for Violation Thereof" and submitted it to this august body for review and confirmation; WHEREAS, the Committee on Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation, to which the foregoing concern was referred for preliminary review, recommended for the confirmation thereof by the body as no legal impediment and/or infringement have been found that will obviate the enforcement of the same; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity and enforceability of Barangay Ordinance No. 2019-007 of Barangay Gatas, entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting the Dumping of Carcasses of Dead Animals in Public and Open Spaces, Private Properties, River/Creek, Canals, Drainages and Other Waterways Within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Barangay Gatas, Pagadian City and Providing Penalties for Violation Thereof," and declaring the same to be in full force and effect. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Gatas, this City, for its information and guidance APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
