RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0149 (Co - Sponsors: Committee on Infrastructure, Public Bidding and Community Development; Committee on Agriculture, Fishery and Agrarian Reform and Committee on Ways and Means) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ADVISE THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION TO THEIR RESIDENTS RELATIVE TO THE INTENT AND PURPOSE OF RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0147, FOR THEIR INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), by virtue of Resolution No. 2019-0147, declared as City Government reserved area all parcels of lands within the Five Hundred (500) meters circumference from the boundaries of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site at Barangay Balintawak, this City, purposely for use in the expansion of such regional center site and, thereby, in effect, prohibiting all landowners from constructing residential houses and other structures thereat as well as selling/disposing the same; WHEREAS, for purposes of providing information to direct and guide the individual residents of Barangay Balintawak more particularly the concerned landowners affected by such declaration, the support and assistance of the officials of the Barangay Government of Balintawak in the dissemination of such information is most required, hence, this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to advise the Barangay Government of Balintawak, this City, to disseminate information to their residents relative to the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 2019-0147, for their individual information and guidance. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, this City, for his consideration and appropriate action; and to the Barangay Government of Balintawak through its Punong Barangay, for information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
