Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE NATIONAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (NBI) FOR LOT NO. 2, BLOCK NO. 11, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 1,443 SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, in relation to the continuing effort to relocate all Regional Offices for Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) to Pagadian City pursuant to presidential directives, the City Government has offered to donate areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center as site for their permanent regional offices; WHEREAS, the National Bureau of investigation Region IX, signified their intention to establish its permanent office in the city, for which the City Government has identified and delineated Lot No. 2, Block 11, containing an area of 1,443, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site as the NBI Regional Office; WHEREAS, with reference to the request of the Honorable City Mayor for authority to effect and formalize the donation, this body deems it urgent and necessary to clothe the City Chief Executive with the requisite authority to sign the above-referred document; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for Lot No. 2, Block No. 11, containing an area of 1,443 square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak, this City. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for information and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; the Regional Director, National Bureau of investigation-Regional Office 9; and all other offices concerned, for reference.
