RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0118 (Sponsor: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO GRANT MONTHLY MONETARY ALLOWANCE, CHARGEABLE AGAINST APPROPRIATE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, TO THE FOLLOWING OFFICIALS OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALLY STATIONED AND/OR ASSIGNED IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN IN THE AMOUNT SPECIFIED HEREUNDER" WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, authorizes the Local Government Unit of Pagadian to provide additional allowances and other benefits out of its financial resources to national government personnel or officers assigned to, and actually performing duties within the city; WHEREAS, since the previous years, the City Government have been granting such benefits to those national government officials and personnel who have directly contributed to the over-all development of the city as well as in the maintenance of peace and order, thus the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, sought for legislative authority to extend such monthly allowance in the amount specified hereunder; WHEREAS, this august body, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing request, deems it reasonable and justifiable to grant the request, hence, this authority; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to grant monthly monetary allowance to the following officials of the national government assigned to or officially stationed in the City of Pagadian in the amount specified herein, viz: PCol. Redentor L. Retusto, ZDS Police Provincial Director P 15,000.00 PLTC Alvin P. Saguban, Pagadian City Chief Police P 15,000.00 SA Israel Ivan L. Peralta, NBI Pagadian DO Chief P 12,000.00 PCPT Richmond Modina, Chief, Regl. Public Safety Bat. P 10,000.00 SPO3 Benjoe T. Tianok, OIC-Maritime Police P 5,000.00 LCDR Carlos Dela Rosa, Acting Commander, Coast Guard P 5,000.00 JSInsp. Atty. Roniel L. Inot, BJMP City Warden P 5,000.00 FCInsp. Dionisio T. Cayudong, Jr., BFP City Fire Marshall P 5,000.00 Total P 72,000.00 RESOLVED, FURTHER, that Resolution No. 2019-0054 and Resolution No. 2019-0089 are accordingly repealed and abrogated. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer, and the City Auditor, for their reference; and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
