RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0110 (Sponsor: Committee on Planning and Landed Estates) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE BUREAU OF JAIL MANAGEMENT AND PENOLOGY (BJMP) FOR LOT NO. 2, BLOCK 1-A, CONTAINING AN AREA OF 4,499 SQUARE METERS, AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER (PCARC) SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, with the desire and intention to fully implement the transfer of all regional offices from Zamboanga City to Pagadian City, the City Government, by virtue of the authority granted by the Sangguniang Panlungsod through Resolution No. 2009-0691, grants, by way of Deeds of Donation, to the transferring regional offices the allocation and distribution of the areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City; WHEREAS, the City Government has identified and defined Lot No. 2, Block 1-A, thereat as site for the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office after considering its space requirements; WHEREAS, a Deed of Donation for the purpose was endorsed to this body by the Honorable City Mayor with a request for authority to correspondingly sign the document formalizing the allocation of the area which document, upon review by the Committee on Planning and Landed Estates, to which the said matter was initially referred, is deemed in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) for Lot No. 2, Block 1-A, containing an area of 4,499 square meters, at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center (PCARC) site in Barangay Balintawak, this City. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for appropriate action; to the City Legal Officer; to the Regional Director, Jail SSUPT Johnson M. Calub, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Regional Office; and to the Executive Director, Pagadian City Regional Center Management and Coordinating Office, for information and reference.
