RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0106 (Sponsor: Committee on Education, Science and Technology and Accreditation of NGO's and PO's) "A RESOLUTION RETURNING, WITHOUT ACTION, THE APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITATION OR RECOGNITION TO THE FOLLOWING NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS, NAMELY: (1) PROJECT BROTHERHOOD OPERATION SWEET SMILE (BOSS); (2) ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR-PAGADIAN CITY PRESS CLUB, INCORPORATED (ZPPI); AND PAGADIAN BASKETBALL ON WHEEL CHAIR ASSOCIATION; WITH AN ADVICE TO ATTACH AND SUBMIT THE REQUIRED PERTINENT DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO SUPPORT THEIR APPLICATION WITH THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD" WHEREAS, several Non-Government Organizations/Peoples Organizations existing and operating in the City of Pagadian have applied for accreditation and/or recognition with the City Government through the Sangguniang Panlungsod; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and scrutiny of the pertinent documents submitted by the body through the Committee on Education, Science and Technology and Accreditation of NGO's and PO's, to which the above matter was initially referred, it was revealed that the foregoing applications are deficient of the necessary documentary requisites as required under City Ordinance No. 2017-375, entitled: "An Ordinance Setting A Revised Standard for Qualification, Accreditation, Monitoring and Evaluation of Non-Government Peoples and Private Sector, Organizations in the City of Pagadian;" WHEREAS, advising the concerned applicants to immediately comply and submit the required documentary requirements before the accreditation proper on the 3rd to 4th week of August is in order and most appropriate at this prevailing circumstances; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to return, as this body hereby returns, without action, the applications for accreditation or recognition to the following Non-Government Organizations with an advice to attach and submit the required pertinent documents necessary to support their application with the Sangguniang Panlungsod, to wit: Project Brotherhood Operation Sweet Smile (BOSS); Zamboanga del Sur-Pagadian City Press Club, Incorporated (ZPPI); and Pagadian Basketball on Wheel Chair Association. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Project Brotherhood Operation Sweet Smile (BOSS); Zamboanga del Sur-Pagadian City Press Club, Incorporated (ZPPI); and Pagadian Basketball on Wheel Chair Association, through their respective President or Chairperson, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
