RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0095 (Sponsor: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF SALE WITH LOT OWNER, MR. ALLY W. MAGHANOY, OVER A PORTION OF LOT NO. H-155501, UNDER TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. E-1534, CONSISTING AN AREA OF TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT POINT TWENTY-TWO (2,168.22) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, several privately owned properties leading to the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site at Barangay Balintawak have been affected by the road widening program implemented by the City Government and have presented their claims for compensation following the negotiations undertaken by the previous administration to acquire these affected areas after satisfactorily complying with the necessary government requirements including the appraisal of these affected pieces of properties; WHEREAS, with the assumption to office of the new administration and, after ascertaining that the Deed of Sale between the City Government and the concerned lot owner has never been materialized, there is now a need to grant anew the present City Chief Executive with authority to purchase and effect the payment or monetary settlement for the above-described lot; WHEREAS, among those affected is some Two Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Eight Point Twenty-Two (2,168.22) square meters with an appraised value of Seven Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Seven (P758,877.00) Pesos of Lot No. H-155501, registered in the name of Mr. Ally W. Maghanoy and covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. E-1534; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Sale with lot owner Mr. Ally W. Maghanoy, over a portion of Lot No. H-155501, under Transfer Certificate of Title No. E-1534, consisting an area of Two Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Eight Point Twenty-Two (2,168.22) square meters, situated in Barangay Balintawak, this City. RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for appropriate action; to the City Legal Officer and to Mr. Ally W.
