Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION CONSIDERING THE PARTICIPATION/ATTENDANCE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE 13TH CITY COUNCIL TO THE SEMINAR ON LOCAL LEGISLATIVE PROCESS, POWERS AND FUNCTIONS OF THE SANGGUNIANS ON AUGUST 2021-23, 2019 AS AN OFFICIAL UNDERTAKING OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN LIEU OF ITS SCHEDULED SESSION FOR THE WEEK, THEREBY, IN EFFECT, RESETTING THE 7TH REGULAR SESSION TO AUGUST 28, 2019" WHEREAS, the members of the 13th City Council is scheduled to attend and participate a seminar on Local Legislative Process, Powers and Functions of the Sanggunians on August 21, 23, 2019 at the Dynasty Court, Cagayan de Oro City; WHEREAS, to ensure the successful conduct of an activity that is aimed to comprehend and understand the workings of the Sanggunian, the attendance and participation of the members of the 13th City Council has been earnestly solicited and officially authorized; WHEREAS, in view of this premise, it is deemed necessary to defer the conduct of the scheduled session on for the week and consider the said activity as an official undertaking in its stead and officially hold the 7th Regular Session on August 28, 2019; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to consider, as this body hereby considers the participation/attendance of the members of the 13th City Council to the Seminar on Local Legislative Process, Powers and Functions of the Sanggunians on August 2021-23, 2019 as an official undertaking of the Sangguniang Panlungsod in lieu of its scheduled session for the week, thereby, in effect, resetting the 7th Regular Session to August 28, 2019.
