RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0087 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO MAKE AVAILABLE, THE PAGADIAN CITY GYMNASIUM ON 30 AUGUST 2019 FOR USE AS THE VENUE OF THE SCHEDULED FORUM WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION ON URBAN POOR (PCUP)" WHEREAS, the Presidential Commission on Urban Poor (PCUP), during its scheduled caravan on August 30, 2019, will be holding a forum/assembly in the City of Pagadian where it can be perceived as an opportunity for both the local leaders and the city residents to personally bring to the attention of the Commission the prevailing predicaments/state of the city's local housing; WHEREAS; the body finds the Pagadian City Gymnasium to be the most appropriate place to hold such event in anticipation of the influx of participants not only from the Pagadian City but also from the neighboring municipalities and provinces, thus requesting the City Chief Executive for the free use of the said facility is deemed most proper at this instance; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to make available, the Pagadian City Gymnasium on 30 August 2019 for use as the venue of the scheduled forum with the Presidential Commission on Urban Poor (PCUP). RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable action; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
