RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0085 (Sponsor: Honorable Troy B. Asugas) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE ACQUISITION/PURCHASE OF PARCEL(S) OF LAND SUITABLE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY'S MODERN SPORTS COMPLEX" WHEREAS, with the intention of the City Government to dispose, by way of sale, the city sports oval complex located at Barangay San Francisco due to its current condition which has very limited area and is no longer feasible and practicable for further development and improvement to accommodate other sports activities, it is therefore logical and reasonable to look for an appropriate and suitable area where a state-of-the-art sports complex can be established and developed; WHEREAS, to ensure the pursuance of the foregoing project, there is an imperative need to authorize the City Chief Executive to facilitate the identification, negotiation and purchase of appropriate sites for such purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to negotiate, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the acquisition/purchase of parcel(s) of land suitable for the establishment and development of the city's modern sports complex. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for information and favorable consideration. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
