RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0079 (Sponsor: Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives) "A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE PROVISION AND ASSIGNMENT OF ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL TO THE CITY ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES DEPARTMENT TO SUPPLEMENT THE OFFICE REQUIREMENT FOR REVENUE COLLECTORS" WHEREAS, the City Economic Enterprises Department, being created and established purposely to help the city government generate additional income in order to provide essential services to the city's residents, as per observation and assessment on the organization and functional set-up of the office, is presently undermanned and it lacks the required number of personnel who shall be tasked to collect revenues for the city; WHEREAS, this body, following the recommendation of the Committee on Commerce, Trade & Industry, Economic Enterprise & Cooperatives, to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial evaluation and consideration, deems it appropriate and in order to strongly recommend to the City Chief Executive to prioritize the assignment of additional personnel in the City Economic Enterprises Department for the purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to recommend, as this body hereby recommends to the Honorable City Mayor to favorably consider the provision and assignment of additional personnel to the City Economic Enterprises Department to supplement the office requirement for Revenue Collectors. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action; and the Head, City Economic Enterprise Department, for information, guidance and follow-up. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
