RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0076 (Sponsor: Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives) "A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES OFFICER, THROUGH THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, TO REQUIRE THE MANAGERS/HEADS OF THE FOLLOWING OFFICES, NAMELY: THE AGORA PUBLIC MARKET; THE INTEGRATED BUS TERMINAL (IBT); THE CITY SLAUGHTERHOUSE; THE CITY FISH PORT; THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3); AND THE BAGSAKAN CENTER; TO SUBMIT A MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATUS REPORT TOGETHER WITH THE PLAN OF ACTION TO BE UNDERTAKEN BY THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICES PURPOSELY FOR CONSOLIDATION AND APPROPRIATE CONSIDERATION" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, consistent with its thrust and commitment to provide and deliver different socio-economic programs for the benefit and welfare of the city's constituents as well as help improve and enhance the city's financial capacity, has implemented and pursued the operation of different economic enterprises facilities in the city; WHEREAS, current practice revealed that while the City Economic Enterprises Department has the over-all control and supervision over each economic enterprises facilities, however, the collection of rentals and other fees and charges thereat are being carried out by the Office of the City Treasurer, such that-based on the foregoing set-up-the managing department, deserving to have a better comprehension and understanding of the offices' operational requirement, must be provided with the required financial records together with the respective offices' plan of action during every end of the month for consolidation and appropriate consideration; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to direct, as this body hereby directs the City Economic Enterprises Officer, through the Honorable City Mayor, to require the Managers/Heads of the following offices, namely: the Agora Public Market; the Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT); the City Slaughterhouse; the City Fish Port; the City Commercial Center (C3); and the Bagsakan Center; to submit a monthly financial status report together with the plan of action to be undertaken by their respective offices purposely for consolidation and appropriate consideration. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor; to the City Economic Enterprises Officer, and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
