RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0074 (Sponsor: Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION-OFFICE OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR-TO REQUIRE ALL RECOGNIZED COOPERATIVES EXISTING AND OPERATING IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN TO STRICTLY COMPLY WITH THE ANNUAL REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS MANDATED UNDER CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2010-304, AS AMENDED, AND FOR THEIR OFFICE TO EVALUATE AND EXAMINE SUCH PERTINENT DOCUMENTS BEFORE ENDORSING TO THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD FOR APPROPRIATE CONSIDERATION" WHEREAS, information revealed that only 14 out of 43 recognized cooperatives existing and operating in the City of Pagadian has submitted and complied with the required annual reportorial obligation as mandated under City Ordinance No. 2010-304 as amended; WHEREAS, for this reason, this body upon the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committee-to which the matter was initially referred-deems it necessary to compel all other cooperatives operating in the city to strictly comply with the said requirements, such that directing the City Cooperative Division, Office of the City Administrator, for the purpose and for the said office to evaluate the submitted documents before forwarding the same to this august body for appropriate consideration is most proper and in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Cooperative Development Division-Office of the City Administrator-to require all recognized cooperatives existing and operating in the City of Pagadian to strictly comply with the Annual Reportorial Requirements mandated under City Ordinance No. 2010-304, as amended, and for their office to evaluate and examine such pertinent documents before endorsing to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for appropriate consideration. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for favorable consideration; and to Mr. Nestor Mindaros, Supervising Cooperative Development Specialist Officer, City Cooperative Development Division, Office of the City Administrator, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action..
