RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0068 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY RECOMMENDING TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE INTENTION OF THE UNIVERSIDAD DE ZAMBOANGA-PAGADIAN CITY BRANCH FOR THE AFFILIATION OF THEIR NURSING STUDENTS TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S HEALTH FACILITIES" WHEREAS, the Universidad de Zamboanga-Pagadian Branch, through its School Administrator, by way of a letter, expressed intention to affiliate with the City Government's community health facilities for their school's Nursing Curriculum and part of their internship program to maximize the students' necessary skills and competency in the aspect of community nursing care services; WHEREAS, this body, finding the request to be beneficial and advantageous to the City Government considering that it will further promote and enhance the delivery of basic health services to the city's constituencies, deems it most appropriate to approve such request, hence this recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to favorably consider the intention of the Universidad de Zamboanga-Pagadian City Branch for the affiliation of their nursing student to the City Government's health facilities. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for consideration and appropriate action; to the Universidad de Zamboanga Administrator, Mr. Eduardo D. Danda II RMT, MAEd, MSMT, and all concerned for their information and guidance.
