RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0061 (Sponsor: Committee on Infrastructure, Public Bidding and Community Development) "A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO DIRECT THE CITY ENGINEER TO COLLABORATE WITH THE CONCERNED BARANGAY GOVERNMENT UNITS FOR THE OPENING OF THE ALLEY SITUATED BETWEEN GOV. J. ARIOSA STREET AND GOV. V.M. CERILLES STREET, AND TO REMOVE ALL BARRIERS AND OBSTRUCTIONS THAT MAY DISRUPT THE FREE PASSAGEWAY INCLUDING THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING FOR ALL TYPES OF MOTOR VEHICLE" WHEREAS, in anticipation of the present administration's intensified development program in relation to the city's present economic advancement, the City Government is now determined to clear and free all of the identified and specified alleys within the city from any sort of barriers and obstructions so as can be used as access and alternative roads and passageways to help decongest major thoroughfares of the city as well as for the convenience of the public; WHEREAS, in relation thereto, it is thus necessary to commission the City Engineer in collaboration with the concerned Barangay Government Units for the opening of all city alleys more particularly the alley situated between Gov. J. Ariosa Street and Gov. V.M. Cerilles Street and cause the removal of all obstructions thereat to include the prohibition of parking for all types of motor vehicle; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as this body hereby earnestly requests Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to direct the City Engineer to collaborate with the concerned Barangay Government units for the opening of the alley situated between Gov. J. Ariosa Street and Gov. V.M. Cerilles Street, and to remove all barriers and obstructions that may disrupt the free passageway including the prohibition of parking for all types of motor vehicle. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action; and to Engr. Gerry D.
