RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0052 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION NAMING THE CITY GOVERNMENT HEALTH SERVICES FACILITY AT BARANGAY DANLUGAN, THIS CITY, AS THE "PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY"" WHEREAS; Paragraph b(2), Section 13 of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, confers authority to the Sangguniang Panlungsod to name or change the name of its barangays, as well as local facilities such as public places, streets or structures; WHEREAS, for quite some time now, the structures for the proposed health services facility at Barangay Danlugan, this City, has long been completed but remained inoperative for reasons unknown to this present administration; WHEREAS, the City Government under the leadership of Honorable Samuel S. Co, in line with its thrust and mandate to provide better health services to its constituents, is determined to render such facility operational, such that it is now essential to provide the health facility with an appropriate name purposely for identification and reference; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to name, as this body hereby names the City Government Health Services Facility at Barangay Danlugan, this City, as the "Pagadian City Infirmary." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Regional Director-Department of Health, Regional Office IX; to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to the City Health Officer; the Barangay Government of Danlugan through the Punong Barangay, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
