"A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY VETERINARIAN TO SUBMIT A REPORT, AFTER EVALUATION AND ASSESSMENT, ON THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE OF THE LIQUID NITROGEN PLANT LOCATED AT BARANGAY DANLUGAN, THIS CITY, AND COME UP WITH AN APPROPRIATE RECOMMENDATION FOR ITS IMMEDIATE REPAIR AND/OR REHABILITATION, IF NECESSARY"

WHEREAS; the 12th City Council, during its 48th Regular Session held last 01 August 2017, passed Resolution No. 2017-0529, which, in gist, authorized the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 9, with reference to the provision and installation of a Liquid Nitrogen Plant at Barangay Danlugan, this City; 

WHEREAS, while it is important to note that the said facility has strengthened and greatly supported the implementation of the city's program on agricultural productivity enhancement, however, information revealed that, at this present, such facility is no longer operational;

WHEREAS, after thorough deliberations, it is thus now imperative to request the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Office of the City Veterinarian, being the implementing agency, to immediately render a report and update on the condition of such Liquid Nitrogen Plant and, if necessary, come up with appropriate recommendation for the immediate repair of such facility;

 NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it

RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Veterinarian to submit a report, after evaluation and assessment, on the extent of the damage of the Liquid Nitrogen Plant, located at Barangay Danlugan, this City, and come up with an appropriate recommendation for its repair and/or rehabilitation, if necessary.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for favorable consideration; and to Dr. Leonora L. Sulay, City Veterinarian, for her information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
