RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0049 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY RECOMMENDING TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO INVITE FOR A CONFERENCE, THE OWNERS/PROPRIETORS/MANAGERS OF ALL PUBLIC SERVICE UTILITIES AND TELECOMMUNICATION PROVIDERS OPERATING IN THE CITY; THE OFFICERS OF THE PAGADIAN CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (PCCCI); AND THE OWNERS/PROPRIETORS OF HOTELS, RESTAURANTS, AND CAFE ESTABLISHMENTS PURPOSELY TO DISCUSS THEIR DEVELOPMENT PLANS AND PROGRAMS IN RELATION TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS FOR THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, with the assumption to office of the new administration, the City Government of Pagadian has envisioned massive implementation of development projects through the provision of basic facilities with the end view of enticing and/or inviting investors that will help uplift the lives of the city's residents as well as help advance the socio-economic standing of the city; WHEREAS, to ensure the successful realization of this vision, it requires the cohesive and unified undertaking from both the local government and the business sector; WHEREAS, for this reason, it is now incumbent upon the Honorable City Mayor to invite all concerned stakeholders of the city for a conference to discuss their plans and programs; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to strongly recommend, as this body hereby strongly recommends to the Honorable City Mayor to invite for a conference, the owners/proprietors/managers of all public service utilities and telecommunication providers operating in the city; the officers of the Pagadian City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI); and the owners/proprietors of hotels, restaurants and cafe establishments purposely to discuss their development plans and programs in relation to the city government's extensive development projects for the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for favorable consideration; and all others concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
