RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0048 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION AND RELEASE OF FUNDING REQUIREMENT, FROM EXISTING AND AVAILABLE APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE CALENDAR YEAR 2019 ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, IN THE AMOUNT EQUIVALENT TO FORTY (40%) PERCENT AS THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S COUNTERPART FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TWO (2) UNITS AMBULANCE UNDER THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE (PCSO) AMBULANCE PROJECT WITH A 60%-40% COST-SHARING SCHEME" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), during its inaugural session held on 02 July 2019, adopted Resolution No. 2019-0004 which, in gist, manifested the intention of the City Government of Pagadian to avail two (2) units of ambulance and, for the purpose, granted authority to the Honorable City Mayor to enter and sign the Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) relative to the acquisition of two (2) Units Ambulance through the "PCSO Ambulance Donation Project," under the 60%-40% Cost-Sharing Scheme; WHEREAS, to ensure the pursuance of the foregoing project, the City Government needs to allocate and release the amount representing the allocation of the 40% city counterpart for two (2) units ambulance, thus this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the allocation and release of funding requirement, from existing and available appropriation out of the Calendar Year 2019 Annual Budget of the City Government, in the amount equivalent to Forty (40%) Percent as the City Government's counterpart for the acquisition of two (2) units ambulance under the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Ambulance Project with a 60%-40% cost-sharing scheme. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the City Budget Officer; the City Treasurer; the City Accountant; and the City Auditor, all of this City, for their information, guidance and appropriate action APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
