"A RESOLUTION SETTING THE MAXIMUM LOAD CAPACITY OF ELEVEN (11) TONS FOR ALL TYPES OF VEHICLES AND HEAVY EQUIPMENT THAT WILL BE ALLOWED TO TRAVERSE BARANGAY ROADS WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"

WHEREAS, as can be observed the frequent passing of overloaded vehicles and heavy equipment had caused severe damage to some barangay roads of the city; 

WHEREAS, in an effort to preserve and maintain the road's good condition, if not, prevent further destruction, it is imperatively necessary for the City Government, for the benefit and interest of the general public, to institute appropriate measures by regulating the maximum load capacity for all types of vehicles and heavy equipment that will be allowed to traverse barangay roads; 

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it

RESOLVED to set, as this body hereby sets the maximum load capacity of Eleven (11) Tons for all types of vehicles and heavy equipment that will be allowed to traverse barangay roads within the jurisdiction of the City of Pagadian.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to P/Lt. Col. Alvin P. Saguban, Chief of Police, Pagadian City Police Office; and all 54 Barangays of the City through their respective Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and appropriate action.
