RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0038 (Sponsor: Honorable Troy B. Asugas) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO NEGOTIATE THE PURCHASE OF PARCELS OF LAND TO BE DEVELOPED AND UTILIZED AS ADDITIONAL SITE OF THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL GOVERNMENT CENTER (PCCARC) SITUATED AT BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, in line with the present administration's determination and fortitude to effect the full transfer of all regional offices and agencies of the national government to the City of Pagadian-being the Regional Government Center for the Zamboanga Peninsula Region-the concern on the present state of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center site where lot areas available for donation are almost depleted cannot be understated and overlooked; WHEREAS, given the importance and urgency of the foregoing concern, this body finds it imperatively necessary to acquire additional parcels of land preferably the area adjacent to the present President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City, thus authorizing the Honorable City Mayor to negotiate with the owners of the adjacent lots thereat and purchase the same at a mutually acceptable price is appropriate at this prevailing circumstance; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to negotiate the purchase of parcels of land to be developed and utilized as additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center (PCCARC) situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City. RESOLVED FURTHER to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
