RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0036 (Sponsor: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY RECOMMENDING AND EXPRESSING FULL SUPPORT AND HEREBY CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT AND DESIGNATION OF P/LT. COL. ALVIN P. SAGUBAN AS FULL-FLEDGED CHIEF OF POLICE OF PAGADIAN CITY" WHEREAS, the Police Office in Pagadian City has long been headed by an Officer-In-Charge in the person of P/Lt. Col. Alvin P. Saguban; WHEREAS, this body is of the view that it is high time for Pagadian City, being the Regional Center of the Government in the Zamboanga Peninsula Region, to have a full time Chief of Police who could devote full time service and undivided attention to achieve the city's peace and order condition; WHEREAS, in deference to Sub-Paragraph (4) of Section 51 of Republic Act No. 6975, entitled: "An Act Establishing the Philippine National Police under a Reorganized Department of the Interior and Local Government and for other purposes," the Honorable City Mayor is vested with authority to choose the city's chief of police, such that this body recommends as it expresses full support to the appointment and designation of P/Lt. Col. Alvin P. Saguban as full-fledged Chief of Police of Pagadian City considering his substantial accomplishments and achievements, excellent performance and probity as OIC-City Chief of Police for the last fourteen (14) months; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to recommend and express, as this body hereby strongly recommends and expresses full support and hereby confirming the appointment of P/Lt. Col. Alvin P. Saguban as Full-Fledged Chief of Police of Pagadian City. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to P/Col. Redentor L. Restuto, Zamboanga del Sur-Police Provincial Office, Camp Abelon; to P/Lt. Col. Alvin P. Saguban, Pagadian City Police Station; and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
