RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0030 (Sponsor: Committee on Laws Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE FERTILIZER AND PESTICIDE AUTHORITY (FPA) FOR LOT NO. 1, BLOCK 1A, CONTAINING AN AREA OF FIVE HUNDRED ONE (501) SQUARE METERS AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod, during its 68th regular session held on 20 January 2009, adopted Resolution No. 2009-0691, which, in gist, approved the grant by way of Deeds of Donation in the allocation and distribution of the areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City, to the transferring regional government departments, offices and agencies of Region 9; WHEREAS, the City Government has identified and defined Lot No. 1, Block 1A, thereat as site for the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) Regional Office after considering its space requirements; WHEREAS, a Deed of Donation for the purpose was endorsed to this body by the Honorable City Mayor with a request for authority to correspondingly sign the document formalizing the allocation of the area which document, upon review, is deemed in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) for Lot No. 1, Block 1A, containing an area of Five Hundred One (501) square meters at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site in Barangay Balintawak, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for appropriate action; to the City Legal Officer; and Regional Director Wilfredo C. Roldan, Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority-Regional Office 9, and all others concerned, for information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
