Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO AN ANCESTRAL DOMAIN MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD)-REGIONAL FIELD OFFICE IX, THE NATIONAL COMMISSION ON INDIGENOUS PEOPLE (NCIP) AND THE SUBANEN INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE KAPIT BISIG LABAN SA KAHIRAPAN COMPREHENSIVE AND INTEGRATED DELIVERY OF SOCIAL SERVICES-PAYAPA AT MASAGANANG PAMAYANAN-INDIGENOUS PEOPLES COMMUNITY DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT (KC-PAMANA IP-CDD)" WHEREAS, the City Government, consistent with its thrust to hasten and accelerate the condition and involvement of the indigenous people in the community peace process programs, collaborated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and the Subanen Indigenous People for the implementation of the Kapit Bisig Laban Sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services-Payapa At Masaganang Pamayanan-Indigenous Peoples Community Driven Development (KC-PAMANA IP-CDD) pursuant to R.A. 8371 otherwise known as the "Indigenous Peoples Rights Act;" WHEREAS, to ensure the successful implementation of the program, the formulation of a Memorandum of Agreement, where the duties and responsibilities of all concerned and involved agencies and organization have been specified, is necessary such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought authority to enter into such deed for and in behalf of the City Government; WHEREAS, this body supports the realization of the said program for the Subanen Indigenous People of the city thus, vesting the City Chief Executive with the required authority is in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into an Ancestral Domain Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Regional Field Office IX, the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and the Subanen Indigenous People, for the implementation of the Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services-Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan-Indigenous Peoples Community Driven Development (KC-PAMANA IP-CDD). RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co for his immediate favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to Regional Director Nestor B. Ramos, DSWD-RFO IX; to Regional Director Henrico L. Gumibao, OIC-NCIP; and Datu Malcom B.
