RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0024 (Sponsor: Honorable Troy B. Asugas) "A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE PHILIPPINE STATISTICS AUTHORITY (PSA)-PAGADIAN CITY OFFICE TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION OF SECURITY PAPER MACHINE FOR THE PROCESSING AND ISSUANCE OF THE REQUIRED SECURITY PAPERS (SECPA) FOR BIRTH, DEATH AND MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES AS WELL AS ALL OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS" WHEREAS, all personal documents such as birth and marriage certificates including the certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) and all other related documents needed for official transaction are required to be Security Paper (SECPA) issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA); WHEREAS, presently, all applicants who would like to obtain security paper documents must have to travel to Ozamis City where they will spend so much of their time, money and effort to satisfy this compulsory requirement, such that this august body, recognizing the general interest of the public in relation to their need for this essential service, finds it imperatively necessary for the concerned agency to immediately acquire and install security paper machine for the purpose, hence this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as it is hereby earnestly requested the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to favorably consider the acquisition and installation of security paper machine for the processing and issuance of the required security papers (SECPA) for birth, death and marriage certificates as well as all other related documents. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Head, Philippine Statistics Authority-Pagadian City Office, for immediate favorable consideration; to the Philippine Statistics Authority Board through Honorable Ernesto M. Pernia, Chairperson, PSA, G/F Solicarel Building 1, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, Sta. Mesa, Manila, for information and appropriate action; and to the Honorable City Mayor, for support and follow-up.
