RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0021 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION JOINTLY REFERRING TO THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION, COMMUNICATIONS AND FRANCHISING AND COMMITTEE ON LAWS, RULES AND POLICY FORMULATION THE MATTER CONCERNING THE IMPOSITION AND COLLECTION OF ENTRANCE FEES/CHARGES FOR ALL PRIVATE VEHICLES ENTERING THE PREMISES OF THE PAGADIAN CITY AIRPORT AT BARANGAY MURICAY AND THE INTEGRATED BUS TERMINAL AT BARANGAY BULATOK, ALL OF THIS CITY, AND FOR THE SAID COMMITTEES TO UNDERTAKE THE NECESSARY REVIEW OF ALL EXISTING ORDINANCES AND/OR RESOLUTIONS RELATIVE THERETO" WHEREAS, the attention of this august body was called on the prevailing policies implemented by the management of the Pagadian City Airport at Barangay Muricay as well as the Integrated Bus Terminal at Barangay Bulatok, all of this City, particularly on the imposition and collection of entrance fees/charges for all private vehicles entering the premises; WHEREAS, following the information that other Local Government Units who were operating the same facilities have not imposed nor collected any entrance fees, this body, through the concerned Committees, deems it appropriate to conduct a thorough study and review of all existing ordinances and/or resolutions relative thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to jointly refer, as this body hereby jointly refers to the Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications and Franchising and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation the matter concerning the imposition and collection of entrance fees/charges for all private vehicles entering the premises of the Pagadian City Airport at Barangay Muricay and the Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT) at Barangay Bulatok, all of this City, and for the said Committees to undertake the necessary review of all existing ordinances and/or resolutions relative thereto.
