RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0016 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION JOINTLY REFERRING TO THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION, COMMUNICATIONS AND FRANCHISING AND COMMITTEE ON POLICE, FIRE AND PUBLIC SAFETY THE MATTER CONCERNING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PARKING ALONG THE MAJOR THOROUGHFARES OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND, FOR THE SAID COMMITTEES TO UNDERTAKE THE NECESSARY STUDY AND REVIEW OF ALL EXISTING ORDINANCES AND/OR RESOLUTIONS RELATIVE THERETO" WHEREAS, observation has it that the absence of proper parking system along the major thoroughfares of the city have been perceived to cause heavy traffic in spite the establishment and operation of traffic lights system in some parts of the city streets; WHEREAS, such that this august body deems it prim and proper to commission the Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications and Franchising and Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety to initiate the review and study of all existing ordinances and/or resolutions and, if necessary, recommend appropriate corrective measures thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to jointly refer, as this body hereby jointly refers to the Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications and Franchising and Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety the matter concerning the implementation of parking along the major thoroughfares of the City of Pagadian and, for the said Committees to undertake the necessary study and review of all existing ordinances and/or resolutions relative thereto.
