RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0014 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION JOINTLY REFERRING TO THE COMMITTEE ON LAWS , RULES AND POLICY FORMULATION AND COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION, COMMUNICATIONS AND FRANCHISING THE CONCERN RELATIVE TO THE DESIGNATED BUS STOP AREAS IN BOTH POINTS OF ENTRY OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND, FOR THE SAID COMMITTEES TO JOINTLY UNDERTAKE THE NECESSARY STUDY AND REVIEW TO DETERMINE WHETHER SUCH AREAS ARE STILL SUITED FOR THE PURPOSE" WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of this august body the observation that the present areas designated as bus stop are no longer feasible and practicable, such that revisiting existing ordinances and/or resolutions governing the designation of an area as bus stops in the City of Pagadian is being sought; WHEREAS, in view thereof, this body finds it appropriate to commission the Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation and Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications and Franchising to jointly conduct an initial study and, in the process, come up with better plans and procedures in the interest of public service; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to jointly refer, as this body hereby jointly refers to the Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation and Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications and Franchising the concern relative to the designated bus stop areas in both points of entry of the City of Pagadian and, for the said Committees to jointly undertake the necessary study and review to determine whether such areas are still suited for the purpose. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information, guidance and appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
