RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0013 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION JOINTLY REFERRING TO THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC UTILITIES, TRANSPORTATION, COMMUNICATIONS AND FRANCHISING; COMMITTEE ON WAYS AND MEANS; AND COMMITTEE ON LAWS, RULES AND POLICY FORMULATION THE CONCERN RELATIVE TO THE EXISTING CAPACITY AND CURRENT OPERATIONAL SYSTEM INCLUDING THE INCOME AND VIABILITY OF THE INTEGRATED BUS TERMINAL (IBT) LOCATED AT BARANGAY BULATOK, THIS CITY, AND FOR THE SAID COMMITTEES TO JOINTLY UNDERTAKE THE NECESSARY STUDY AND REVIEW OF ALL EXISTING ORDINANCES AND/OR RESOLUTIONS GOVERNING THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE SAID FACILITY" WHEREAS, with the rapid increase in population of the City of Pagadian due to an improved economic condition alongside its designation as the regional center of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region, the existing capacity and current operational system including the income and viability of the Pagadian City Integrated Bus Terminal located at Barangay Bulatok, this City, which was established and made operationalized for quite some time now deserves to be revisited and reviewed so as to conform with the present demand and requirement for which it was established; WHEREAS, for this purpose, it is thus necessary to commission the joint Committees on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications & Franchising; on Ways and Means and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation to spearhead in the conduct of the said study; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to jointly refer, as this body hereby jointly refers to the Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications and Franchising; Committee on Ways and Means; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation the concern relative to the existing capacity and current operational system including the income and viability of the Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT) located at Barangay Bulatok, this city, and for the said Committees to jointly undertake the necessary study and review of all existing ordinances and/or resolutions governing the management and operation of the said facility.
