Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION MANIFESTING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN TO AVAIL TWO (2) UNITS OF AMBULANCE AND, FOR THE PURPOSE, GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER AND SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE (PCSO) RELATIVE TO THE ACQUISITION OF THE TWO (2) UNITS' AMBULANCE THROUGH THE "PCSO AMBULANCE DONATION PROJECT" UNDER THE 60%-40% COST-SHARING SCHEME" WHEREAS, the health development program of this present administration is considered a priority hence, for the enhancement and improvement of the city government's capability in providing better health services to the rising number of the city's constituents, the Honorable City Mayor, in a letter addressed to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, expressed desire to avail two (2) units of ambulance through the PCSO Ambulance Donation Project under a 60%-40% cost sharing scheme; WHEREAS, in order to effectively pursue the same, the favorable endorsement and legislative authority to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office for the acquisition of such ambulance is being sought by the City Chief Executive; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this Sanggunian, finding the request to be more beneficial and responsive to the health needs of the people of Pagadian, deems it reasonable to manifest this body's support as it found practical to grant the requested authority to enter and represent the City Government in the formulation of such Memorandum of Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to manifest, as this body hereby manifests the intention of the City Government of Pagadian to avail two (2) units of ambulance and, for the purpose, granting authority to the Honorable City Mayor to enter and sign the Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office relative to the acquisition of the two (2) units' ambulance through the "PCSO Ambulance Donation Project" under the 60%-40% cost-sharing scheme. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office through its Chairperson, Mr. Anselmo Simeon P. Pinili, Sun Plaza Building, 571 Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong, 1552 Metro Manila, for his favorable consideration; and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, this City, for his immediate favorable consideration; and to the City Legal Officer, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
