Revelo "AN ORDINANCE CREATING A CO-TERMINUS POSITION OF ONE (1) EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT V, SALARY GRADE 24, UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR, DEFINING ITS DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (14th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. Position Created; Duties and Responsibilities. - The position of Executive Assistant V (coterminous position, primarily confidential in nature), Salary Grade 24 with monthly salary of Eighty-Two Thousand Four Hundred Four ( 82,404.00) Pesos, is hereby created and form part of the Personal Staff under the Administrative Division of the City Mayor's Office and shall be vested with the following duties and responsibilities, to wit: Performs a variety of administrative research and technical duties in reaching or implementing substantive decisions; Performs a research in specialized phases of such fields as economics and finance, law enforcement, development of non-Christian areas and compensation of local government officials & employees as basis for executive decision; Assists in the implementation of cultural and educational projects and makes studies of specific projects in these fields; Does other related work as required. SECTION 2. Requirements on Education, Eligibility and Work Experience. - The basic requirements on education, work experience, training and eligibility for the herein created positions shall be in accordance with the applicable policies, guidelines, rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission pertinent thereto. SECTION 3. FUNDING APPROPRIATION. - The total amount of compensation shall be made available to fund the said position and the funding for the monthly salary of Eighty-Two Thousand Four Hundred Four Pesos ( 82,404.00) and other personal benefits for the afore-mentioned position shall be sourced out from savings of the following vacant but funded positions in the Pagadian City International College, namely: Item No. Position Salary Grade 1 College Department Head 20 4 Guidance Counselor III 13 Thereafter, the salaries and other personal benefits for the afore-mentioned position shall be incorporated in the Annual Budget of the City Mayor's Office for the ensuing year. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
